Up and breakfast of cereal and toast - then coffee in lounge.......
Reema, Preet and Ishaam arrived at 10.45 and off we went with them. First stop the Lotus Palace - beautiful. Long walk to reach it then shoes off and oooooh! Hot, hot floor - walking on rush matting! - Ouch, ouch, ouch, but worth it. Inside the temple is so serene - couple of folks recited from the Bible, Koran and Bhagaveda - the acoustics were amazing, - did a 5 minute meditation then back to the car and off in the mad traffic with Preet telling us all about history etc. Preet jumped a red light and got stopped, but bribed the police with 1000 rupees! lol. Onwards to the Embassy Club, an old Raj club. Fab lunch and end to an old restored merchant house by means of a three wheeler ride - scary, into a really old part of Delhi and a house which is now a boutique hotel and fabulous. 4 Storeys high with kite flying from the roof, we had high tea then the lift to the top where Ishaam immediately started flying his kite expertly. Afterwards we went home to their ground floor flat and met Preet's mum who is a lovely lady. we had a quick chat about Lyoness then back to the hotel for packing.
